A larger market
The business expanded its operations to Mumbai, reaching a wider base of fabrication, engineering and maintenance customers, and saw how broad their requirements were.
Growing with customers
As customers asked for more, focused companies were set up, each with its own product area: SOTC Weld Corporation, Spartech International and SPM Weld Metal.
Beyond the weld
Sitron India was formed to cover the steps around welding: D&H Sécheron welding consumables, importer of abrasives under the Staarek brand, Magnaflux DP sets, and manufacturer of SS braided flexible/corrugated hose.
Making our own wire
Customers wanted a dependable, locally made source of welding wire. Swiss Wire Technology LLP was set up to manufacture MIG and flux-cored wire in India, with consistent quality from our own plant.
Supplying the world
Today, we export from India to buyers in major markets across the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and the USA.
